Four times a year, Our Little World Alpacas, nestled on 6 acres in Grafton Township and populated by as many as 50 mild-mannered alpacas, opens its gates to the public.
In June, visitors are invited to The Babies Are Here event. In September, as well as two times in November, including during the barn's Christmas in the Barn event, hundreds of people stroll the tranquil property to enjoy a tour of the pasture or a trip to the farm store to peruse clothing items made from alpaca fleece.
“The farm itself is very peaceful. It’s very relaxing,” says Joy Turner, who owns Our Little World Alpacas with her husband, Brian. “It’s a breath of fresh air. Even though the animals may be just grazing, or walking back and forth, their peacefulness transfers."

Insider tip: Dress in closed-toe shoes and for colder weather. There’s no windbreak so the farm is almost always colder than you’d expect.
