Ice cream doesn’t just taste great; it also makes for a great time. It’s a celebration for a good report card, sweet night out with your love or delicious excuse to slow down for an hour.
Here, the Scoop Ice Cream Trail makes trying new flavors — and new places — easier than ever. Pick up your “passport” and lanyard for $1 at either the Lorain County Visitors Bureau (8025 Leavitt Road, Amherst), Divine Scoops (140 Lear Road, Avon Lake) or Sundae Funday’s (25145 Royalton Road, Columbia Station). Then, hit the trail from June 1 to Sept. 3, getting your passport signed as you go and receiving a 25-cent discount on all ice cream products. Those who return a completed passport to the Lorain County Visitors Bureau will receive a festive commemorative pin — and will also be entered in a drawing to win free ice cream for an entire year.
